Hugh Weir

Hugh Weir is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in employment consulting and youth services. Currently serving as a Practice Lead and Employment Consultant at WoodGreen Community Services since October 2021, Hugh has also held roles such as Employment Consultant for Integrate Employment Services and Youth Programs. Prior to this, Hugh worked at Cowichan Valley Youth Services Society as a Facilitator and Employer Liaison, and at Cowichan Valley Regional District, where positions included Child and Youth Leader and Program Assistant. Additionally, Hugh briefly served as a Senior Program Leader at the Boys and Girls Club of Central Vancouver Island. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Sustainable Leisure Management from Vancouver Island University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Canisius University.
