Leonard Wagers, CPA, CGMA, CFSA, CRMA has extensive experience in the finance and accounting field. Leonard has served as the Chief Financial Officer and Controller at Woodhull LLC since January 2020 and January 2019, respectively. Prior to that, they were a Principal in Risk Management Services at Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co. from July 2007 to December 2018. Leonard has also worked as an Adjunct Accounting Instructor at Northern Kentucky University from 2000 to 2012, and as a Senior Manager at J.D. Cloud & Company, Crowe Chizek & Co., and Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati. Leonard began their career as an Accounting Officer at CNB Bancshares, Inc. in 1990.

Leonard Wagers, CPA, CGMA, CFSA, CRMA, has a diverse education history and numerous certifications. Leonard obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Miami University in 1981. Prior to that, they attended Stetson University from 1977 to 1979, where they focused on Accounting.

In 1983, Leonard pursued a Master of Arts degree in Religious Education from the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, completing it in 1985.

Continuing their education, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Southern Indiana between 1996 and 2000.

Leonard Wagers has also attained several certifications to bolster their professional qualifications. Leonard became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Ohio in February 2005 and obtained the same certification in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in August 1994.

Additionally, Leonard holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation from the AICPA. Leonard has also acquired the Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from the IIA (Institute of Internal Auditors) and the Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA) certification from the IIA as well.
