JP Solmes

JP Solmes has over 15 years of professional experience. From 2006 to 2009, they worked as a Senior Accountant at KPMG. JP then moved to Inmet Mining, where they served as Analyst, Corporate Development and Senior Financial Analyst from 2009 to 2013. JP then joined First Quantum Minerals LTD as Manager - Corporate Development from 2013 to 2017. After that, they worked as Head Of Business Development/Business Development at First Quantum Minerals from 2017 to 2020. In 2021, JP was appointed as CEO of Trimac Renewable Royalties and is currently serving as Chief Business Development Officer at Woodland Biofuels Inc. since 2023.

JP Solmes completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Queen's University in 2003, followed by a Master of Management & Professional Accounting from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in 2006.
