Melissa Baker

Melissa Baker is an experienced marketing professional with a strong background in strategic marketing and account management. Currently serving as the Marketing Manager at Woodland Park Zoo since September 2021, Melissa previously held roles as a Strategic Marketing Specialist at both Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc. and 2060 Digital from October 2015 to September 2021. Earlier in Melissa's career, positions included Regional Account Executive at CW11 - KSTW TV and Account Executive at Comcast Spotlight, where negotiation and customization of advertising opportunities were key responsibilities. Melissa also played a significant role as Local Sales Manager overseeing a team and managing a substantial annual budget. The career began in broadcast promotion with KOMO 4 Television as a Promotion Assistant. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Communications from Western Washington University.
