Julia H. Haines is an independent musician, composer, and multi-instrumentalist with a rich career spanning several decades, beginning in 1976. As Head Harper, Julia has dedicated their work to setting ancient and contemporary sacred poetry to music, producing notable compositions like "Thunder: Perfect Mind" and "I Shall Sing a New Song: Miriam." Julia has performed at esteemed institutions such as Union Theological Seminary and The Rubin Museum of Art, while also serving as a music therapist and educator. In their roles at Experience Music and Woodland Pond At New Paltz, Julia utilizes a structured, multi-sensory approach to music therapy and education.
