Kurt Birky

Kurt Birky currently serves as the Pastor of Campus Ministry at Woodmen Valley Chapel since January 2020. Prior to this role, Kurt held various leadership positions at Compassion International from 2008 to January 2020, including Product Management Director, Global Brand Director, and Agency Director. Kurt's earlier experience includes serving as Creative Director at Focus on the Family from 2002 to 2008 and Graphics Manager at Universal Studios Hollywood from 1993 to 2002. Kurt's academic background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Colorado State University, a Certificate in Biblical Studies and Theology from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and ongoing studies toward a Masters of Applied Theology at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
