Woodridge Park District
Julie Rhodes is the Assistant Superintendent of Recreation/Safety Coordinator at Woodridge Park District since May 1991. Prior to that, Julie worked at Recreation Service Inc. as a Fitness Manager from 1989 - 1991. Julie graduated from Carthage College in 1989 with a Bachelor's degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies.

Woodridge Park District
The Woodridge Park District established in October 1969 is governed by a set of Illinois laws known as the Park District Code, which was enacted in 1947 (70 ILCS 1205, et seq.). The Woodridge Park serves approximately 35,500 residents, offers more than 1,000 programs each year, and maintains four facilities and 60 community and neighborhood parks and sites, woodlands, wetlands, bikeways and open space totaling 655 acres. Facilities include Cypress Cove Family Aquatic Park, Village Greens Golf Course and the Community Center. The agency's commitment to excellence is why the Woodridge Park District earned Accreditation from the Illinois Association of Park Districts & Illinois Parks & Recreation Association's Joint Committee Distinguished Agency Accreditation program in 2010.
