David Cheung

Senior Project Designer at Woods Bagot

David Cheung has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture. David started as an intern at Ted Tokio Tanaka Architects in 1998 and worked there until 2000. In 2003, they joined Callas Shortridge Architects as a designer for a year before becoming a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania. After completing their teaching assistant role in 2003, they joined Belzberg Architects as a Principal and worked there for almost 18 years. Currently, David Cheung is a Senior Project Designer at Woods Bagot, starting from November 2022.

David Cheung earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Ecology from UC Irvine, which they completed from 1992 to 1997. David then pursued a Master of Architecture (MArch) degree at the University of Pennsylvania from 2000 to 2003. In terms of certifications, David obtained their Registered Architect certification from the State Architects Licensure Board - Pennsylvania Department of State in November 2018. David also obtained the same certification from the California Architects Board in July 2021. Additionally, David holds an NCARB Certificate from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, which they received in May 2018.
