Katherine Lavallee is a coastal scientist with extensive experience in geoscience, coastal measurements, and sediment analysis. Currently serving as Team Lead for Coastal Measurements & Sediments at Woods Hole Group, Inc. since June 2018, Katherine has previously worked with the National Park Service as a Geoscientist-in-the-Park and has held various research assistant positions at Boston College. Skill sets include calibration of optical turbidity sensors, development of standard operating procedures, and management of fieldwork logistics, alongside experience in teaching and mentoring graduate and undergraduate students. Katherine holds a Master's Degree in Geology and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geoscience from Boston College.
