Brian Durante

Brian Durante serves as the Hydrostatic Pressure Test Facility Manager at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution since November 2010, where responsibilities include coordinating pressure testing efforts and documentation tracking for various instruments related to DSV Alvin. Previously, Brian worked as a Construction Inspector with UTS of Mass from 2005 to 2008, overseeing the inspection of concrete and steel reinforcement. Brian's earlier experiences include roles as a Meat and Seafood Associate at Stop and Shop Supermarkets, a General Construction Worker in heavy and highway construction, and a Jet Engine Mechanic in the US Navy from 1991 to 1994. Brian holds a diploma in Marine Systems Engineering from The Landing School of Boat Building and Design and several certificates related to electrical and mechanics training.
