Nare Karapetyan

Nare Karapetyan is currently a Tenure Track Assistant Scientist at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, starting in December 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Maryland from January 2022 to December 2023 and a research associate at the University of South Carolina from August 2016 to December 2021, where Nare worked on aquatic path planning problems and taught courses in Robotics. Nare's professional background also includes positions as a Software Engineer Intern at iRobot, Research Associate at American University of Armenia, and Software Developer at Improvis Team. Nare holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of South Carolina and has participated in significant research collaborations with various institutions.
