Robert Waters

Robert Waters has extensive experience in marine operations, particularly in subsea exploration and robotics. Currently serving as the Marine Facilities Manager and ROV Engineer at Ocean Exploration Trust since March 2012, Robert oversees facility management at AltaSea in Los Angeles and provides maintenance for ROV technologies. At Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Robert has held the position of DSV Alvin Chief Pilot and Expedition Leader since March 1996, managing at-sea operations for the Deep Sea Submersible Alvin and supervising a team of pilots and technicians. Additionally, Robert has contributed to various organizations, including Waters Edge Benthic Services Inc. and Schmidt Ocean Institute, while also holding an electronics engineering role at Cubic Defense Systems earlier in their career. Robert's educational background includes studies at San Diego Mesa College from 1983 to 1988.
