David Baker

David Baker has extensive experience in engineering and project management, particularly in control and safety systems within the energy sector. Currently serving as Controls Technical Authority and Principal I&C Engineer at Woodside Energy since October 2011, David has also held roles as Instrument and Control Team Lead and Senior Control Systems Engineer during tenure. Prior experience includes senior engineering roles at I&E Systems, Rio Tinto, Aker Kvaerner, and Alcoa, contributing to significant projects such as the Karratha Gas Plant, Kennecott Utah Copper, and the Diavik Diamond Mine. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Management and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electrical from The University of Western Australia, alongside a Graduate Certificate in Management from Deakin University.
