Dr Clare Davies

Dr. Clare Davies currently serves as the Bass Strait Opportunity Lead and Head of Australia Exploration at Woodside Energy since September 2022. Prior to this, Dr. Davies held various roles at BHP from November 2017 to September 2022, including Principal Geoscientist for Captured Basins Growth and Australian Exploration and Geoscience Manager. Experience also includes positions at Getech as Head of Multiclient Reports, Senior Explorationist at QGC, Principal Geologist at BG Group, and Geoscientist at Woodside Energy. Dr. Davies began a professional career as a Sedimentologist/Project Leader at CASP. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor's Degree from The University of Edinburgh, along with completion of the Advanced Leadership Program in Organizational Leadership from Women & Leadership Australia.
