James Rees

James Rees is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in cloud transformation and management. Currently serving as Cloud Transformation Lead and Cloud Platform Lead at Woodside Energy since March 2020, James has previously held roles including Cloud and Infrastructure Manager at Target Australia and Senior International Project Manager at Raleigh International. Additional experience includes positions at Telstra as Platform Performance Manager, Accenture as Technical Project Lead, Vodafone as Technical Project Lead, and Alfa Financial Software as Senior Consultant. James began professional career at Lucent Technologies Bell Labs innovations as a Consultant. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics and Molecular Biology, both from the University of Birmingham.
