Josie Fourie

Josie Fourie has held various significant roles at Woodside Energy since January 2001, currently serving as the Head of Drilling and Completions - Australia. With extensive expertise in drilling, completions, and well delivery, Josie has contributed to projects such as the Brunello/Julimar five well Managed Operation and has served as a senior engineer overseeing well testing activities across Australia. Josie's career at Woodside includes key positions in strategy advising, development engineering, and safety governance. Additionally, Josie is a Board Member at Diabetes Research WA, and gained earlier experience as a Project Engineer at ExxonMobil during the redevelopment of the Longford Gas Plant following a major incident. Josie holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Honours in Chemical Engineering from RMIT University, furthering professional development with training from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
