Kristine Leo

Kristine Leo has a diverse and extensive work experience across various fields. Kristine began their career in 1987 as a Superintendent in the Northern Territory Police Force, where they served until 2005. Following this, they joined the WA Police and held the position of Superintendent from 2005 to 2010.

In 2010, Kristine moved into the private sector and joined Woodside Energy, where they held various roles. Kristine started as a Security, Crisis & Emergency Adviser and served in this position until 2013. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a General Manager at Woodside Energy. Kristine then became the China Country Manager from 2018 to 2022. Currently, Kristine is the Vice President, HSE, International Operations at Woodside Energy.

Additionally, in 2019, Kristine held the position of Director at AustCham Beijing.

Kristine Leo has a diverse education history. In 2000, they obtained a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training from NTPFES College. In 2002, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Investigations from Charles Sturt University, which they completed in 2004. During the same time, they also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Applied Management from the Australian Institute of Police Management (AIPM).

In 2003, Kristine pursued further education and obtained a Graduate Certificate in Management from Flinders University. The following year, they completed a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Management from Emergency Management Australia.

In 2007, Kristine attended the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia, USA, where they focused on Leadership in Counter Terrorism through the Terrorism and Counterterrorism Operations program. Kristine then went on to complete a Masters degree in Leadership & Management from Charles Sturt University from 2010 to 2011.

Most recently, in 2014 and 2015, Kristine attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors, graduating with a degree as a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Overall, Kristine Leo has pursued a comprehensive education, covering a wide range of disciplines including investigations, emergency management, counterterrorism operations, workplace assessment and training, and leadership and management.
