Meggie Zhang

Meggie Zhang currently serves as the China Country Chair and Chief Representative at Woodside Energy, overseeing business activities in China and the surrounding region since September 2023. In addition, Zhang leads the Head of Customer Development for APAC in New Energy, focusing on business development and marketing for lower carbon fuel solutions, including hydrogen, ammonia, and carbon capture and storage. Prior experience includes a 17-year tenure at BHP, where Zhang led the Global Carbon Desk, developed LNG commercial strategies as General Manager, and managed marketing initiatives in petroleum gas. Early career experience also includes analysis roles at KHD Humboldt Wedag. Meggie Zhang holds a Master's degree in Commerce from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Arts from Donghua University.
