Mike Mellor

Mike Mellor has extensive experience in the energy sector, particularly in LNG marketing and regulatory frameworks. Since July 2016, Mike has served as Head of Global LNG Regulatory at Woodside Energy, where responsibilities include assessing regulatory and energy policy frameworks across global LNG markets. Prior to this role, Mike was General Manager of LNG Marketing at Woodside, focusing on mid and long-term LNG marketing. Previous positions include Lead Consultant at Mellor Energy Consulting, Marketing Manager and various other roles at BHP Billiton, and senior leadership positions at North West Shelf Australia LNG Pty Ltd. Mike began the career as a Bank Officer at The Bank of Adelaide and holds a degree in Business, Marketing from the University of South Australia.
