Shambhu Singh Rathore

Shambhu Singh Rathore, PhD, is an experienced electrochemical engineer specializing in fuel cell and hydrogen systems. Currently serving as an Electrolyser SME at Woodside Energy since November 2024, Shambhu previously held positions at Fortescue, where responsibilities included technical leadership in fuel cell system development and decarbonisation strategies. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Research Fellow at CSIRO, focusing on direct ammonia fuel cells, and Research Scientist at Curtin University, developing materials for Solid Oxide Fuel Cells. Shambhu's academic background includes a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Curtin University and a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from NIT Jalandhar, complemented by various internships and research fellowships throughout the career in sectors such as steel and energy.
