Kathy Lavelle, CPA, CHE, CHIM has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Kathy Lavelle, began their career as an Analyst at the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care in 2005 and later became a Data Management Coordinator. In 2008, they joined Lakeridge Health as the Director of Health Information Management. Kathy Lavelle, then moved to London Health Sciences Centre where they served as an Administrative Resident and later took on roles as a Decision Support Consultant and Project Lead for Physician Documentation Enhancement. In 2012, they joined Woodstock Hospital as the Director of Health Records, Privacy Officer, and Patient Registration. Kathy Lavelle, was promoted to Vice President of Finance & Chief Financial Officer in 2016. Additionally, Kathy has a background in lecturing, having worked as a part-time lecturer at Fleming College and the University of Western Ontario.

Kathy Lavelle, obtained their Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in Health Information Management from Western University from 2001 to 2005. Kathy Lavelle, later pursued their Master's of Health Sciences degree in Health Administration at the University of Toronto from 2010 to 2012.

In 2013, Kathy attended the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) to become a Chartered Professional Accountant, which they completed in 2016. Following this, they obtained the Certified in Health Information Management certification from the Canadian College of Health Information Management in 2005. In 2012, they achieved the Certified Health Executive designation from the Canadian College of Health Leaders. Kathy further enhanced their professional qualifications by becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant through the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario in 2017.
