Sherry McKnight has had a lengthy and diverse work experience. Sherry started their career in 1988 as a Registered Nurse at Brant Community Healthcare System and held various managerial and leadership roles within the organization. These roles included being a Manager of Complex and Palliative Care Services, Manager of Surgical Services, and Director of Nursing and Professional Practice. Sherry also served as an Educator for Medical, Surgical, and Ambulatory Programs. In 2013, they became the Director of Value Stream Leader for Acute and Transitional Programs before transitioning to the role of Director for Inpatient Rehabilitation and Complex Care at Woodstock Hospital in 2016.

Sherry McKnight has a strong educational background in the field of nursing. Sherry obtained a nursing diploma from Fanshawe College in 1988. After working as a registered nurse, they pursued further education and completed a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Science from McMaster University between 2002 and 2004. Continuing their academic journey, Sherry then pursued a Master's degree in Nursing Science at York University from 2010 to 2013. With a diverse educational background, Sherry has acquired extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of nursing.
