Woodward Academy
Brett Reichert, MS, serves as a Teacher and Varsity Swim Coach at Woodward Academy since August 2022, while also holding a position as City Council Member for the City of Hapeville since January 2022. Reichert has been the Board of Directors President for District 3 Southwest at the Georgia Municipal Association, an organization supporting municipal governments in Georgia, from January 2022 to June 2024. Previous experience includes roles as Director of International Admissions and Programs at the University of West Georgia, Associate Director of International Student & Scholar Services at Georgia State University, and involvement with the Educational Testing Service as a Score Leader. A volunteer with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Reichert has participated in various endurance events raising funds for blood cancer research. Academic credentials include a BA in Political Science/International Affairs from Mercer University, an MS in Multi-lingual, Multi-cultural Education from Florida State University, and a professional certificate in Translation from Georgia State University.
