Steven Averett

Steven Averett is an experienced editorial and creative manager currently serving at Woodward Academy since July 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Director of Content Production for Endeavor Business Media from January 2014 to December 2020, where Steven led content development for key publications, fostering a collaborative environment among a diverse team. Previously, Steven held the position of Content Director for the Waste Group at Penton, overseeing content strategy for various industry publications. Additional experience includes serving as Managing Editor and Staff Writer, where Steven cultivated engaging content across multiple platforms. Steven began a career in service as an AmeriCorps Team Leader at Hands On Atlanta. Steven earned a BA in English from The University of Georgia between 1995 and 1998.
