Sean Tynan

Sean Tynan is Chief Financial Officer for Woodward Design & Build, a role he assumed in August 2017. Sean holds responsibility for corporate finance, accounting, tax, treasury, and financial planning and analysis. He also holds responsibility for both Risk Management and IT operations.

Prior to this role, Sean served as CFO of Intralox, LLC, the largest division of Laitram, LLC, a privately-held global manufacturer of precision-engineered conveyance solutions, headquartered in New Orleans with global commercial and manufacturing operations in the U.S., Europe, Latin America, Australia, China, India, and Japan.

A native of New Orleans, Sean started his career in 1997 at the General Electric Company where he graduated from its Financial Management Program and Corporate Audit Staff. He proceeded to assume increasingly senior finance roles in multiple global divisions of GE focused primarily on both short-cycle and long-cycle manufacturing and service businesses. He then joined United Technologies Corporation as part of a GE divestiture where he was the CFO of the Global Detection and Alarm division before returning home to New Orleans in 2012.
