Tom Abernathy

Tom Abernathy is a highly experienced construction professional with a robust background in project management spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Project Executive and previously as Senior Project Manager at Woodward Design+Build since January 2016, Tom Abernathy has successfully led significant projects such as the US Corps of Engineers Cousins Pumping Station and the 225 Baronne Mixed Use Renovation. Prior experience includes a tenure at Roy Anderson Corp, where Tom managed key projects including the renovation of the Brice Building Company’s name and the Tulane University New Volleyball and Basketball Practice Facility during a 17-year career at Brice Building Company. Earlier roles include Project Engineer at Kiewit, contributing to major infrastructure projects. Tom Abernathy holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University, obtained from 1987 to 1991.
