Alexis Wright Conniff

Alexis Wright Conniff has a strong background in legal and contracts management. Alexis Wright currently works as the Legal Director at Woodward, Inc., where they lead the legal aspects of the Aerospace segment and provides legal guidance and support for contract negotiation. Prior to this, they served as the Legal Director for Contracts, Aircraft Turbine Systems, where they provided legal counsel and support for the contract function of the ATS business group. Before joining Woodward, Alexis held roles at Plymouth Tube Company, where they were responsible for reviewing and negotiating contracts, and at Nelson Mullins Encompass, where they worked as a Discovery Attorney. Alexis Wright also has experience working in the public sector as a Fellowship Attorney for the US Army, where they conducted legal research and wrote legal briefs, and as a Legislative and Legal Aide for the Texas House of Representatives, where they responded to constituent concerns and played a key role in the passage of a bill. Alexis also gained legal experience as a Summer Associate at Bracewell & Giuliani LLP. In addition to their legal career, they have recently started their own business, The Backyard Blossom, a micro flower farm specializing in cut flowers grown using organic and environmentally friendly methods. Alexis is also actively involved in their community and serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Rockford Chamber of Commerce.

Alexis Wright Conniff completed their education at The University of Texas School of Law, where they obtained a J.D. degree in Law from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended The University of Texas at Austin, earning a B.A. degree in Government from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, Alexis has acquired additional certifications such as Financial Analysis and Valuation for Lawyers from Harvard Law School in 2022, Leadership Development Training, Graduate from the Center for Creative Leadership in 2022, and Project Management Essentials from the University of Chicago Professional Education in 2018.
