Bill Lacey

William (Bill) Lacey was appointed Chief Financial Officer on May 8, 2023. Mr. Lacey has a distinguished track record in financial, operational, and business leadership. Prior to joining Woodward, he was Vice President of Finance for Amazon’s Books and Kindle Content, and before that he was President and CEO of Savant’s Lighting division. Mr. Lacey’s background also includes a successful 28-year career at General Electric (GE), including serving as President and CEO of the company’s Lighting division, and several other senior leadership positions, including CFO of the company’s Healthcare Medical Diagnostic and Wind Energy divisions. He also spent time working with GE Aviation. He previously served on the Board of Directors at aerospace and industrial firm Parker Hannifin Corporation. Mr. Lacey is also passionate about working with philanthropic organizations to give back to the local community, such as his work with local colleges and hospitals. Mr. Lacey holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Florida A&M University.
