Joe Knape

Joe Knape is a seasoned procurement and category management professional with extensive experience in the electronics and semiconductor industries. Currently serving as the Global Category Manager for Electronics at Woodward, Inc. since November 2022, Joe has previously held significant roles at HP, including Interim Director of Semiconductor Procurement, where accountability encompassed global sourcing teams and operational success. From 2012 to 2020, Joe managed semiconductor sourcing across multiple categories and supported LTE/5G technology adoption. With a strong foundation as a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager focused on technology partnerships and product introductions, and earlier roles as a Product Manager and Procurement Specialist, Joe brings a wealth of knowledge in lifecycle management and strategic sourcing. Joe holds both an MBA in Supply Chain Management and Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Michigan State University.
