Leslie Kolterman

Leslie Kolterman is an accomplished fundraising professional with extensive experience in philanthropy within prominent research and educational institutions. Currently serving as the Chief Philanthropy Officer at Woodwell Climate Research Center since March 2020, Leslie oversees a comprehensive fundraising program to secure sustainable support for the organization's mission. Previous roles include Director of Development at McLean Hospital, where a major gifts team was led to strengthen donor relations, and Assistant Dean for Development & Alumni Relations at Boston University School of Public Health, directing fundraising initiatives for the school's strategic plan. Additionally, Leslie held positions at Tufts University School of Medicine as Senior Director of Development and Alumni Relations, and at Harvard Medical School as Director of Leadership Gifts, significantly increasing donor bases and fundraising efforts. Leslie began a career at Brigham and Women's Hospital as a Major Gift Officer. Leslie earned a Master's degree in Teaching from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor's degree from Augustana College.
