Ross Paterson has over 10 years of experience in the finance industry. Ross began their career as a Senior Advisor at CFO Partners, where they provided consulting services to Chief Financial Officers. Ross then worked as a Trainer at Euroforum, where they developed a training program for controllers to improve their skills in strategic management and performance analysis.

In 2016, Paterson joined WoodWing Software as the Chief Financial Officer on an interim basis before becoming the Chief Operating Officer in 2017. In 2018, they were promoted to the role of CEO, where they led the global market leader in multichannel publishing and digital asset management software.

Throughout their career, Paterson has also held various advisory roles, such as Business Change Manager and Senior Advisor, where they worked on planning and control projects, developed finance strategies, and facilitated discussions on the effectiveness of controllers.

Ross has also been involved in speaking engagements and panel discussions, sharing their expertise in management information, controller competencies, and finance organization.

Ross Paterson attended Radboud University from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration. Ross then pursued a CMA (Certified Management Accountant) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 2007 to 2008. In 2009, Ross briefly attended Cranfield School of Management, focusing on Strategic & Operational performance management. Ross also attended De Baak in the same year, although their field of study is not specified.
