Tom Pijsel has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Tom started their career at TwelveCubes as a Software Developer & Solution Architect from June 1999 to December 2008. Tom then worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Microbais from January 2010 to August 2010. Since September 2010, Tom has been with WoodWing, initially as a Senior Software Engineer/Scrum Master until July 2012. Later, they transitioned to Product Management roles within the company, serving as a Product Manager from July 2012 to December 2016, then as a Senior Product Manager from December 2016 to January 2021, and finally as a Lead Product Manager from January 2021 to October 2021. Currently, Tom holds the position of VP Product Management at WoodWing, starting in October 2021.
Tom Pijsel attended Inholland University of Applied Sciences from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a degree in HTS with a specialization in Electrical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they also completed a certification course titled "Storytelling for Influence" at IDEO U in August 2017.
