Momo Sun

Momo Sun, P.E., P.Eng. is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Regional Director for New York at WoodWorks since February 2021. Prior to this role, Momo held positions including Project Manager at Fast + Epp and Senior Engineer at Thornton Tomasetti. Momo's expertise in structural design began with a Structural Designer EIT role at MMM Group, with significant contributions to major projects such as the Ottawa LRT stations and McMaster Children’s Health Centre. Momo also served as a Teaching Fellow at MIT for a summer workshop focused on Real Estate Entrepreneurship. Momo holds a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering from MIT and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto. Additionally, Momo has demonstrated leadership as the President of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering UofT Chapter and has experience as a structural design intern at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff.
