Alicia Abelow

Instructional Designer & Training Content Specialist at WOOF GANG BAKERY

Alicia Abelow is an experienced instructional designer and training content specialist currently working at Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming since November 2022. Previously, Alicia held various roles at Pinellas County Schools from December 2014 to November 2022, including instructional designer and curriculum writer, where responsibilities included designing curriculum for 79 elementary schools and supporting professional development for educators. Alicia also served as a learning and training specialist focused on enhancing student engagement through brain research and led district trainings on technology resources. Early in the career, Alicia was an elementary school teacher at one of Florida's lowest-performing schools. Additionally, Alicia worked as a UX/UI designer and project manager at the University of Central Florida for a short period in 2020, contributing to user experience projects, including the Closing the Gap Initiative. Alicia holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of South Florida and is currently pursuing a UX/UI Bootcamp at the University of Central Florida.
