Daniel Novakovic

Visiting Medical Officer at Woolcock Institute of Medical Research

Daniel Novakovic is an Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences since October 2018. In addition to this role, Daniel serves as the Medical Director of the Dr Liang Voice Program at the University, which focuses on Research, Training, and Education in Laryngology and Voice disorders. As a Visiting Medical Officer, Daniel works in ENT and Head and Neck Surgery at several institutions, including Chris O'Brien Lifehouse and the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research. Daniel's clinical expertise extends to the Sydney Voice and Swallowing clinic, dedicated to addressing voice and swallowing issues. Daniel's education includes an FRACS in Otolaryngology from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, an MPH in Public Health from UNSW, and an MBBS along with a BSc in Medicine, Statistics, and Applied Mathematics from the University of Sydney. Previously, Daniel gained specialized experience as a Clinical Fellow in Laryngology & Neurolaryngology at the New York Center for Voice and Swallowing Disorders.
