Dr. Liora Kempler is a psychologist with extensive experience in sleep-related disorders, particularly insomnia and perinatal sleep issues. Currently employed at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research since November 2009, Dr. Kempler has contributed significantly to both clinical practice and research, managing major studies that led to multiple publications, including research on cognitive behavioural therapy for obstructive sleep apnea. Previous roles include serving as a psychologist at Integrated Sleep Health and Holdsworth House Medical Practice, as well as working with Bump to Baby Sleep Psychology. Dr. Kempler also held a PhD researcher position at the University of Sydney, focusing on novel sleep interventions for postpartum women, and has actively participated in leadership roles within the Australasian Sleep Association. Dr. Kempler holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) in Psychology from UNSW.
