Sven M. Jacobson

Sven Jacobson is an accomplished executive in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, currently serving as CEO and cofounder of Woolsey Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since November 2019, which focuses on developing BRAVYL for ALS treatment. In addition to this role, Sven has been CEO and cofounder of Martin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since February 2018, and Remedy Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since 2005, the latter aiming to enhance patient care for CNS-related conditions. As a partner at Carrot Capital, Sven has managed operations and founded multiple healthcare startups. Previous positions include board member and cofounder of Critical Diagnostics, where novel biomarkers for cardiovascular care were developed, and involvement with several other biotech and media companies. Sven holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management and a BSc in Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
