Prakash Rana Bhat

Prakash Rana Bhat is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data architecture and engineering. Currently serving as a Data Architect and Data Engineering Lead at Woolworths Group since July 2021, Prakash has led significant projects, including the migration and decommissioning of the Hadoop Ecosystem and the transition of a relational data mart to BigQuery. Previously, Prakash worked as a Senior Data Engineer at OneAffiniti and Woolworths Group, contributing to the development of the Woolworths Data Platform on Google Cloud and architecting data ingestion pipelines. Prakash's earlier roles include Data Warehouse Engineer and Technical Support Lead, where responsibilities encompassed converting business requirements into system requirements and leading teams for Woolworths Enterprise Data Warehouse. Prakash began the career as a DevOps Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, managing production workloads and optimizing query performance. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Information Technology from Anna University Chennai, obtained in 2012.
