Haroon Abdoolla

Haroon Abdoolla possesses extensive experience in sales and insurance management, having served as Head of Sales at Woolworths from December 2017 to November 2021, where responsibilities included channel strategy and overseeing a team of 250 to 300 staff across South Africa. Haroon also held the position of Head of Insurance at Woolworths, focusing on strategy, innovation, and customer-centric solutions to enhance the company's insurance products. Prior to Woolworths, Haroon worked at DirectAxis from January 2010 to June 2012 in various roles including Business Unit Leader and Team Leader, managing sales for life, medical, and value-added products. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate in Business Administration from the University of Cape Town and a Certified Financial Planning degree from Mill Park, complemented by participation in an Executive Development Program at the University of Cape Town in 2023.
