Peter van Heeswijk

Peter van Heeswijk has a diverse and extensive background in leadership roles primarily within the housing and consultancy sectors. Currently serving as Directeur Bestuurder at WoonInvest since August 2021, Peter previously held advisory and interim positions at van Heeswijk Consultancy focused on real estate and circular economy from January 2014 to January 2023. Peter's experience includes directorships at Risse Groep Weert, Wierden en Borgen, Rijnhart Wonen, and Woonpartners, where efforts were made to enhance workforce opportunities, manage housing portfolios, and oversee organizational transitions. Prior roles encompass being Algemeen Directeur at Dar NV, leading a broad public service agenda, and serving as Landelijk Partijvoorzitter for CDA, as well as managing Bakkerij van Heeswijk for two decades. Peter holds degrees in Political Science from Radboud University and has completed executive education in finance and governance at prominent institutions including Erasmus University and TIAS School for Business and Society.
