Adrian Gregson has extensive experience in public service and heritage management, currently serving as the Heritage Champion and City Councillor for Worcester City Council since 1992. In addition to this role, Adrian has held the position of Mayor and has been the County and Diocesan Archivist at Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service since July 1987. As Chair of the Elgar Festival, an international music event celebrating Elgar's legacy, and as a Worcestershire Ambassador since 2017, Adrian actively promotes cultural heritage. Previous experience includes serving as Branch Secretary for Unison, managing a Local Government Branch of 5,000 members from 1993 to 2012. Adrian's academic qualifications include a Ph.D. from the University of Worcester focusing on the First World War, as well as degrees in Public Administration, Archive Administration, and History from various prestigious institutions.
