Adam Bates is currently a High Yield Analyst at Minutemen Fixed Income Fund, responsible for conducting detailed credit research in the healthcare sector and presenting investment recommendations. As Vice President of the UMass Investment Club, Adam co-hosts biweekly meetings on equity research and mentors junior members. In the role of Teaching Assistant for OIM 210 at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Adam lectures and provides support to over 700 students. Adam also serves as a Caddie at Worcester Country Club, achieving the highest caddie ranking, and has experience as a Construction Laborer at BATES SITE DEVELOPMENT CORP. Previously, Adam interned at Carr Financial Group in wealth management, focusing on stock and bond research and client financial planning. Adam is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance at the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst.

Founded at another location in 1900, Worcester Country Club contracted with renowned architect Donald J. Ross, who personally oversaw the design and construction of a gem that stretches to over 6650 yards and plays to a par of 70. One unusual feature is the five par threes, which make the course play longer and tougher than the yardage indicates.
