Alan Baker

Alan Baker is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Director of Enterprise Architecture and Strategy and Director of Network Architecture at Worcester Polytechnic Institute since October 2019. Prior to this role, Alan worked as a Principal Network Engineer at Broadcom Inc. during a transitional phase following the acquisition of CA Technologies. Alan's extensive background includes over a decade at CA Technologies, where responsibilities included the design and implementation of global network infrastructure and security. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Network Engineer at Concord Communications and as a Network Analyst at Sprint, focusing on network support and infrastructure management. Alan Baker holds a degree from the University of West Georgia.
