Chaitanya Ruhatiya

Postdoctoral Fellow at Worcester Polytechnic Institute

Chaitanya Ruhatiya is currently a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, involved in projects related to machining fluid filtration and particle count measurement within the Metal Processing Institute's CR3 Centre since August 2021. Previously, Chaitanya held roles as a Summer Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, focusing on the techno-economic cost analysis of a solar ammonia production facility, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at National Sun Yat-Sen University in Taiwan, contributing to research in the Thin Film Lab. Additionally, Chaitanya has experience as a Research Development Engineering Intern at Shantou University in the Department of Mechatronics. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering (2023-2026) and a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering (2021-2023) from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, as well as a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Mahindra University (2017-2021) and Higher Secondary Education in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from B K Birla Centre for Education (2011-2016).
