Eric Beattie

Eric Beattie currently serves as Vice President for Campus Planning and Facilities Management at Worcester Polytechnic Institute since January 2018. Prior to this role, Beattie was a Senior Preconstruction Executive at Gilbane Building Company, focusing on higher education projects. Beattie has extensive experience in campus planning, having held positions such as Director of Campus Planning, Design, and Construction at Syracuse University and Director of Planning and Construction at Williams College. Additional experience includes serving as University Engineer at the University of Vermont, Field Engineer at Brockette Davis Drake, and Materials Engineer at Southwestern Laboratories. Beattie earned a Master's Degree in MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont.
