Gregory Fischer

Professor (on Leave) at Worcester Polytechnic Institute

Gregory Fischer is a seasoned professional in the field of medical robotics, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of AiM Medical Robotics since 2018, focusing on innovative MRI-compatible surgical technologies. In addition to leading AiM Medical Robotics, Gregory is a member of the 2023 MassMEDIC Medtech IGNITE cohort and holds the position of Professor (on leave) at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where responsibilities include directing the PracticePoint R&D Center and leading projects in the AIM Lab that explore medical robotics integration with real-time imaging. Prior experiences include co-founding Surgisense Corporation and serving as a researcher at Johns Hopkins University in Medical Robotics. Gregory holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, alongside several other degrees in engineering and business from respected institutions.
