Jill Desmarais

Jill Desmarais, M.Ed., PMP, currently serves as Director of IT Finance & Portfolio Management at Worcester Polytechnic Institute since 2018, overseeing enterprise-wide transformation projects that facilitate the shift from on-premises systems to cloud services. Desmarais has held various leadership roles in project and portfolio management, including experience at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where responsibilities included managing global operations and overseeing a significant volume of transactions. Previous positions at HP and Compaq involved driving operational efficiencies, managing cross-functional teams, and leading initiatives aimed at enhancing customer service and improving business processes. Desmarais has a Master's degree in Instructional Design with a focus on Performance Consulting from UMass Boston and a Bachelor's degree in Consumer Economics from the University of New Hampshire.
