Mike Fritschy

Mike Fritschy serves as the Vice President of Engineering and Product Development at SMC Ltd since May 2017 and concurrently as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor for the Plastics program at Worcester Polytechnic Institute since April 2023. Previously, Mike held the position of Vice President of Engineering-Northeast at Phillips-Medisize from February 2015 to April 2017 following the acquisition of Injectronics, and served as EVP Operations at Daktari Diagnostics from September 2013 to February 2015. Prior experience includes a senior role at Nypro, A Jabil Company, where Mike was Senior Director of Healthcare Global Engineering and Program Management from August 1996 to September 2013, as well as program management at Smith & Nephew Endoscopy from 1992 to 1996. Mike has also contributed as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor for the University of Massachusetts from September 1997 to December 2007, focusing on Injection Molding Theory and Polymeric Materials. Mike holds a BS in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and an MS in Innovation and Technology, Program Management from Boston University.
