Ryan Shaw

Ryan Shaw is a current student at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, pursuing a major in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Electrical & Computer Engineering. Prior experience includes an engineering internship at Formlabs, where Ryan assisted in experiments and designed jigs to reduce trial error. As an engineering intern at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Ryan led the development of machine vision features for a microscope, utilizing advanced technologies such as the Nvidia TX2 development board. Additionally, Ryan has a strong foundation in various engineering skills, including software and hardware proficiency in tools like Fusion360, SolidWorks, and microcontroller programming. Ryan also has notable experience from Ondine Biomedical Inc., where leadership of a summer intern group focused on developing innovative solutions for antibiotic-resistant infections. Ryan holds Bachelor's degrees in both Electrical and Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
