Taimoor Afzal, Ph.D., currently serves as an Assistant Teaching Professor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute since January 2022. Previously, Taimoor held positions as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where research focused on exoskeleton gait training for patients with neurological disorders. Additional postdoctoral experience was gained at TIRR Memorial Hermann, with shared research efforts. Taimoor began as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, researching locomotion for transfemoral amputees.
